Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Jayek Jimenez (born September 2, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actor and film producer. She began her career in Mexico by playing a lead role in the television series Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) for which she received an Ariel Award nomination. In films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) and Dogma (1999), she quickly made herself a household name in Hollywood. Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002) and the film she also directed and directed, was the first Mexican actress to be nominated to the Academy Award for Best Actress[6In addition, she earned her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to make films as well as starring in action pictures Once Upon a Time in Mexico later on in her career.
