The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress (Congressional Award Board of Directors) confers the Horizon Award a special recognition. The Horizon Award is presented to individuals from the private sectors who have helped to expand possibilities for all Americans through their own personal contributions, and who are exemplary to young people by their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a wonderful co-player and enjoyed being in such a talented, knowledgeable group. He worked hard and played with a lot of intensity when his Magnum schedule was able to allow . He was very patient and enjoyed being with us. ".
