Alex Flanagan
She went to the University of Arizona as well as Salpointe Catholic High School, both in Tucson. Flanagan is a reporter for NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for Notre Dame home football games as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan is seen in the popular online game Madden 10 and Madden 11, where she hosts a recap of the game's games with Fran Charles. Alex comes from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she wed. Both of them have daughters. Alex's family owns the Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career at the age of 18, working as an intern at KVOA-TV. The reporter began covering sports in 1998. She has worked with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. She was also a member in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Flanagan's career began in television as a reporter in general assignments, as well as weekend anchor on KCCO-TV Alexandria, Minnesota. This role was held for two years by WSFA-TV Montgomery located in Alabama.
