Bellamy Young
Young began her acting career as an actor in the theatre. In 1997, she had her Broadway debut as Mary in the first production of The Life. Also, she appeared off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Merryly We Rolled Along (1994) and as the role of Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-1996). Her debut was on television in 1995, playing Dr. Courtney Evans. Both in 1997 and 1998, she was a guest star on Law & Order, playing two different roles. The film debut came in 1999. She had a minor role in Black and White. In the following years she appeared in a variety of independent films. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began guest-starring roles on a number of comedy and drama shows on television, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young appeared in over thirty television shows. The year 2003 saw Young appeared as an actor on The USA Network show Peacemakers. After nine episodes, the show was cancelled after just one season. She was the Deputy Dist. on the Lifetime television drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs as Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). From 2011 to 2013, she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
