Kellie pickler

Though she was never crowned with the "American Idol" award, Kellie Pickler was one of the show's best alumni. Born Kellie Dawn Pickler on the 28th of June 1986 in Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle to Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. She was born to an aged 16-year-old mother. Pickler had a difficult childhood because of her addiction to drugs and alcohol addictions, while her mother abandoned her at the age of 2. Morton returned to take her custody for a couple of years, but Pickler acknowledged that it was not all well. "I recall that my mother as well as me at the same table, and I said to her "I'd rather die than being there with you. I'd rather God took me off.' She took a knife out, set it on the counter and said"Here's what you need to do now.' I was in the fourth grade. She said "Of Of course, I'd never do anything about the incident. It has nevertheless left me with a lot emotional wounds." Pickler aged 12-years-old, was handed over to the Morton's parents following the hearing in court. Pickler was raised by her grandparents throughout her entire life. She cited them as having the most significant influence on her life. Her grandmother Faye Pickler died from lung cancer in the month of January, 2002. her children were raised by the grandfather. Pickler was a graduate of North Stanly high school located in New London (North Carolina).
