Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and studied the clarinet, piano, and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. The passion she had for theatre in school led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. Sharp appeared in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida and also Thunder Knockin Jitney and The Producers. She was even a reading partner of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp's work is not limited to the stage or screen. Sharp has written and co-written several projects. Alongside performing, she is currently developing an album. Sharp she is frequently in front or behind camera as well as in the studio for music, also is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a long trips on the road. Sharp lives with her husband and children and lives in Los Angeles.
